Here’s how it works locally: you call us or submit the online form, we confirm a pickup window, and a nearby flatbed or hook-and-chain operator is dispatched to your address. Running or not, we’ll take it. You can donate from your driveway in Midtown, a street spot in Westport, or a workplace lot near the Plaza. On pickup day, just leave the signed Missouri title and keys with the vehicle as arranged. A local towing partner typically arrives within a few business days, depending on how dense your neighborhood is and how far outside the core metro your address may be.
How to schedule your free local pickup
1. Tell us about your vehicle and location
Call or fill out our online form with your Kansas City area address and basic vehicle details. Let us know if it runs, where it’s parked (driveway, street, apartment lot), and any special access notes. 2. Choose a pickup day and time window
We’ll offer a pickup window based on where you are in the Kansas City Metro and current tow routes. Core areas like Midtown, Waldo, North KC, and Shawnee often schedule faster; more rural spots may need an extra day or two. You pick the day and a general time window that works, and we lock it in with our towing partner.
3. Prepare your title, keys, and vehicle location
Before the truck arrives, remove personal items and plates if you prefer, and have the signed Missouri title and keys ready. If you won’t be home, we’ll confirm a safe spot to leave them (such as in an envelope in the glove box). Make sure the car is accessible for a flatbed—no blocked driveways or locked gates on pickup day.
4. Meet the driver—or donate without being home
On the scheduled day, a local tow operator comes to your address in Kansas City, Independence, Liberty, Olathe, or wherever you are.
